I wanted to remind you that you can add your tournament to the NPDA website to centralize the information and make it easier for people to access it. Additionally, you MUST do this in order to sanction your tournament and be eligible for sweepstakes points. You simply create an account or login in the top right corner of ParliDebate.org and then go to Tournaments under the Account tab. For information on requirements to sanction tournaments, refer to page 3 of our bylaws: https://s3.amazonaws.com/npda/documents/files/000/000/005/original/NPDA_By-Laws__September_2018.pdf?1542229921
Additionally, you must renew your membership to the NPDA to be eligible to earn sweepstakes points and attend the national tournament. We would really appreciate it if everyone could start this process early on to make sure everyone is eligible for points earned! This also means completing mandatory Title IX training. Luckily, last year our Title IX Advisor, Lauran Schaefer, revamped our system and created to provide a free and accessible option to complete training. We still recommend that you and your students seek training through your institutions as they will inform you about policies specific to your campus. For information about our policy and the verification form, visit the NPDA’s website: NPDA - for access to the NPDA training and more info on training visit here: NPDA

Hi Friends! Please find the invite for the 2021 Crossman Invitational here. I will post an update with registration has opened up, which should be soon! Also, we have made some modifications to the tournament including adding an IPDA swing on Saturday and Sunday. Previously, students could enter NPDA on Fri/Sat and either LD, IPDA, or IEs on Sunday. See the details in the invite to see the different combinations of events students can enter now. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! Crossman Invitation 2021.pdf (197.1 KB)
