Top City Classic - Prelim resolutions


The USFG should pass a war powers resolution to end U.S. military involvement in Yemen’s civil war.

The USFG should establish a sixth branch of the armed forces, the U.S. Space Force

The USFG should pass, the Restoring Justice for Workers Act.

The USFG should abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

The United Nations should withdraw its peacekeeping mission from Kosovo.

The USFG should significantly improve its transportation infrastructure.


Rd 1:

For Round 1, we’re going with 25 minutes of prep time as that was announced at the Round 1 announce.



After Round 1, we’ll revert back to the Invite, which states:

20 minutes of preparation time + 2 minutes of walk time
Teams not ready to debate 22 minutes after topic announce will forfeit the round

Round 6 will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday as per Doubledee’s email of the amended schedule.

Assuming that we are on time and have pairings, you may simply start prepping for the Round 6 debate at 8:30. Please do not prep your in-round materials beforehand. I’ll also formally announce in room 201 at 8:30. PMCs should start at 8:50.
